An innovative idea

March Gallagher is an attorney with an MA in public policy and the environment. Working to shut down Indian Point, she came up with an idea she describes at EnergyVoteShare.com.

Starting from the premise that:
"One of the great things about publicly traded corporations (regulated as they are in America) is that the public can participate. Well, that's what I am going to do. Rather than just fear Indian Point or revile Entergy for seeking permit renewals, I am going to work as a member of the company to change its policy."
she's asking people to buy a share of Entergy stock and pledge to proxy over their vote to her.

More about Ms. Gallagher can be found here, a Draft Resolution she's preparing for Entergy's annual meeting (May 2012) here, and her Facebook link.
